Continuing Education
Continuing education and research have been tenets of IIDA since the organization first began. We believe educated practitioners make informed, safe, and creative decisions, and these decisions have a lasting impact on the world. Our educational programs promote awareness and serve as a vital outlet for creativity.
Through the support of our Chapter Partners, IIDA Indiana is able to offer free CEU’s to our members. Non-members may also attend for a fee.
We are always looking for new courses to offer. If you have an accredited program, or would like to learn more about the program accreditation process, or with any further questions, please email Laken Taylor, VP of Professional Development. Keep checking our calendar for upcoming CEU courses.
Compliance
IIDA Professional and Associate Members are required to complete and report 1.0 CEU (10 hours) of Continuing Education in a two year time period. All Professional and Associate Members (active and inactive) including Educators, IIDA Fellows and Chapter Officers must adhere to IIDA compliance requirements.
IIDA accepts all IDCEC approved courses. It is the responsibility of each Member to maintain their own records. You can use the IDCEC online registry to report attendance and obtain an official transcript of CEU activity. Use of this registry is free for all learners who belong to ASID, IIDA and IDC.
If you have attended a course which was not IDCEC approved (AIA, GBCI, etc.) and wish to apply it towards your IIDA compliance you may submit it via IDCEC’s site HERE.
