We believe enthusiastically that Interior Design is more than just a profession—it’s a passion. To this end, we offer a variety of programs that develop the careers of active Interior Designers. These programs provide a broad range of experiences for our members and guests.
Our Chapter offers the following types of programs:
.CEU (Continuing Education Units)
These events include lectures, webinars, and CEU-approved tours.
Educational
These non-CEU events include tours, panels, and leadership roundtables. They also may include informative sessions strengthen attendees’ skills in Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and the such. We also offer NCIDQ study sessions.
Social
These great events include our members’ only events, networking, philanthropic and volunteer/sponsor celebrations.
Signature Events
IDEA Awards: The focus of the IDEA (Interior Design Excellence Awards) Awards is to share and celebrate our most successful design projects with our peers and to be inspired by the work of fellow designers in Indiana. This event is held every “odd” year.
Fashion Show: Teams of designers, reps and manufacturers collaborate to build design-inspired costumes for this runway modeling competition. Items such as upholstery, lighting and other physical design materials are used to create a unique event every “even” year.
Design Expo: This trade show brings together the designers and the people, tools and resources they utilize to create spaces in Indiana.
