Murphy Arts Center First Friday is an open format, monthly art exhibition. This event seeks to create opportunities for emerging and established artists of all disciplines to share their work with the Indianapolis Arts Community.

We will meet at Blackline Studio as a group for food and libations at the start of the event. We can visit the open house studios as a group.

Blackline is located on the 2nd floor of the Murphy Art Center in Historic Fountain Square. Entrance to the 2nd floor studios is through the glass elevator tower on the northwest corner of the building at the intersection of Virginia Ave and Woodlawn. Dial “208” on the call box for building access. Upon entry, Blackline is the first door on the right on the 2nd floor.

Parking is available along Virginia Avenue, behind the Murphy building along St. Patrick Street, and in a lot just north of the Virginia Ave/Woodlawn intersection on the west side of Woodlawn Avenue (in front of FLUX). Overflow parking is also available behind FORTE, one block south of the Murphy Building.
